This made for TV remake of the 1964 made for TV production differs from the earlier version in several ways. Three additional Rogers and Hammerstein songs were blended into the score; a couple of the existing songs were done a bit differently. Cinderella is a dreamer, but in a 90's sort of way. Whitney Houston made a spectacular fairy god mother, and both Whoopie Goldberg and Jason Alexander were very amusing.
