In the mountains
Behind the scene
There is a place
Called Abelene.

Not the Abelene
Kansas has
That's not even near
This mountain topaz.

The Abelene
I'm speaking of
Is a place
In the land of the dove.

The land of the dove
Is a fairy land
Where children walk
Hand in hand.

Oh go to the mountains
And view the scene
And you will be 
In Abelene.
