In the hustle-bustle of the world There's a silent cry. It is I. In the hectic mumble-jumble of the world There's a desperate plea It is me. When I am down I am so far down It is always night, Yet I long for the light But I can't find it here. I can oly hear a voice Crying in the darkness. It is mine. Swallowed in the night black Of depression and self-pity Am I. When I am so far down I never look up. I only look in, But in is only further down. There are walls around me And I'm inside there alone And I moan. I long for someone to come by And hear my silent plea And set me free.
