I was Just Content

I was just content That we had just met An electric connection Over electronic wires. Your words jump started my heart Warming my cold soul Melting the icy barrier Which stood between me and love. With contentment came happiness That giddy, giggly joy That's usually reserved for the young. The feeling that daily stress Cannot ever take away Just the thought of you Sends me soaring in the clouds Never to truly land again. With these feelings Came more feelings Some I cannot identify Because I never felt them before. The feeling that each day Brings us closer and closer Closing the distance between us Making us one. Five thousand miles A continent and an ocean Cannot seperate us Cannot keep us apart. We touch each other when we write We touch each other when we talk We touch each other when we dream When we meet face to face We have already met Heart to heart.
