We Have Been Blessed Upon this Day

We have been blessed upon this day
To join hand in hand
And take ourselves as man and wife
To bring peace across the land.

We've been given a rite by law
Of a culture from the past
To help return it's freedom
And allow that right to last

I give to you my life and love
And all that is mine to give
To have, to hold to keep
As long as we both shall live.
