Don't Ask Me How I Feel

Don't ask me how I feel inside my heart I do not know Good or bad; right or wrong My heart's in a bind. To love or not to love Or to be or not to be What eternal questions are those That I may ask without hope Of resolution or absolution. Do I dream beyond dreaming When I think of you. Am I lost in a dimension Not akin at all to life Or what is true reality, If there is such a thing as that. And if in a dream is that The only way of having you Is it better to forget Than to forsake the truth. For what lie have I told myself That I could be wanted Or needed by you. And is that a lie of the heart only Or of the mind as well. That I could believe it so That I believe it to be true. But do I really love you Or do I love who I think you are.
